A week of wonderful stitching !

Hi all!

I have had such a nice week filled with icehockey on the telly and lots and lots of stitching ! My Lavender Fairy is coming along nicely : ) I have now stitched the legs and I have done some more backstitching . . . : )

I have also started on the fairy wings. All the skin colours coming up is making me feel slightly bored so I am trying to mix it up by stitching different parts of the charts according to my mood. I'm also debating with myself whether I should stitch the face now or save it until the end . . .? Any thoughts ?

Here's another picture of one of my stitching buddies . . . :)

Isn't he cute rolled up like a little ball ? ?

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday filled with lots of stitching !

  1. You have made great progress on your fairy. I would start some of the skin tones now and when you have done some reward yourself with more colour LOL. I love your stitching companion - mine has just wandered off into the garden to do his cat patrol.

    1. Yes, I'm trying to do just that; mixing it up, taking turns stitching different areas so I don't get bored : )

  4. Stitch the face now then you'll end on a fun note! Or if you stitch by color, do one flesh color followed by one fun color. Then it's like a reward for doing your homework :)

    1. Yes, I'm leaning towards stitching the face soon so the fairy comes alive : ) Maybe that will keep me motivated !
